Toya Algarin | Board of Trustees of KIPP Philadelphia Public Schools
Toya Algarin is a native of Philadelphia. She is a proud mother of 3, including her youngest son, Romao, who is a KIPP Philadelphia alumnus. Toya Algarin is a graduate of LaSalle University, where she currently serves on the university’s community board. Over the years, she worked in management and merchandise at IKEA and JCPenney. Since then, she has been a fierce advocate for high-quality education in city of Philadelphia. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees of KIPP Philadelphia Public Schools.
